JUNE LAKE LIBRARY, ink and watercolor sketch in my sketchbook.
Spending time in the town of June Lake, in northern California, I visited the enchanting thrift shop and the library. The librarian, a lovely lady called Vanisia, was very friendly and welcoming. We talked about watercoloring, sketching, and how you comcentrate and pay so much more attention to details when you have to draw something, than when you are just looking.

MATTHEW DRIVING, watercolor and ink
MATTHEW DRIVING, ink and watercolor in my sketchbook.
My grandson Matthew, driving part/most of the way from San Diego to June Lake, on December 29th. He had also brought podcast to listen: lectures of History by Dan Carlin. It was a pleasure for me at several levels: Matthew was driving, which freed me to do what I like: sketch and paint and read. Second: my grandson makes me proud by enjoying so much History lectures.
My last few entries for 2015 in my sketchbook, are coming up! Stay tuned!
