Eye of the Stone

Eye of the Stone, acrylic on paper, 24x19" (60x48cm.). This painting has been accepted today for the Richeson 75 International Still Life and Abstract Online Gallery, Winsconsin, USA.It represents acute physical pain I suffered last year when passing a kidney stone. It is true as they say, that all our work is autobiographical. I paint, therefore I am. Here is the link:

Representa un gran dolor fisico que sufri el ano pasado, cuando pase una piedra de rinon. Es cierto lo que dicen, que todo nuestro trabajo es autobiografico. Yo pinto, luego existo. Goya used ambiguous titles, like his painting of three religious friars taking a bowl of soup, he called "They are hot", and it could be interpreted for the soup or the monks!
Goya usaba titulos ambiguos, como su pintura de los tres monjes tomando sopa titulada: "Estan Caliente", que se puede interpretar por los platos de sopa o por los monjes!
