Writers and painters are a different kind of explorers and adventurers. May be they have some of these, but what differentiates them, is that writers and painters look for less tangible things: they search emotions. "They have started the most useless of all battles: stop time." says Javier Reverte. When we write and when we paint, time is suspended in mid-air, and the feeling is so addictive, that we continue as long as we breathe. We continue trying to stop time by recording it on our canvases.
Escritores y pintores son una clase diferente a los exploradores y aventureros. Quizas tengan algo de estos, pero lo que los diferencia, es que los escritores y pintores buscan algo menos tangible: buscan emociones. 'Ellos han comenzado la mas inutil de todas las batallas: detener el tiempo." dice Javier Reverte. Cuando yo escribo y cuando pinto, el tiempo esta suspendido en el aire, y la sensacion es tan adictiva, que continuamos mientras tengamos aliento. Continuamos tratando de detener el tiempo y grabarlo en nuestras telas.
