Unknown Soldier

Unknown Soldier, watercolor, 6x4" (15x10 cm.) This is the statue of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Church in Cauterets, France. Today, for the last Blog of this year 2010, I am sharing this poor soldier, in honor of ALL soldiers fighting anywhere in the world, from any country, any religion, any army, speaking any language. Whoever they are, they are not with their families, they are not at home, they may be too cold, or too hot. My thoughts go out to them. My wish for 2011 is that ALL soldiers in the world go home and live in peace. Peace to the world, then we can have a Happy New Year!

Hoy, para mi ultimo Blog del ano 2010, publico este pobre soldado, en honor de TODOS los soldados peleando en cualquier parte del mundo, de cualquier pais, cualquier religion, cualquier ejercito, hablando cualquier idioma. Quienquiera que sean, no estan con sus familias, no estan en su hogar, pueden que tengan frio, o demasiado calor. Mis pensamientos estan con ellos. Mi deseo para el ano 2011 es que TODOS los soldados del mundo se vayan a casa y vivan en paz. Paz en el mundo, entonces si podremos tener un Feliz Ano Nuevo!
