Home is where the Heart is

Home is Where the Heart Is, watercolor, 6x9, available.
"Encaustic" is from the Latin: "encausticus", which is from the Greek word: "burn in". Encaustic combines melted beeswax with  pigments. It can be used as an adhesive and as paint. Paints are applied on a heated surface, and each layer is fused with a heat gun. Interesting, eh?

  1. Hi.. this is Bhavna and I truly admire your work. You really have an unconventional style, although quite different from mine but I genuinely respect it because it is unique. It would be great if you see my work at www.mesmerisingstrokes.com and we exchange our thoughts and broaden our insights.

  2. Hi Bhavna, thank you for your comment! I tried to go to your website, but couldn't open it. Yes, I'd like very much that we communicate. Could you check if that spelling of your website is correct?
