Heroine du Temps

Heroine du Temps, watercolor, 50x36cm. As I have said before, I've selected expressions from Moliere's "L'Ecole des Femmes" for all the titles of the works in this exhibition in Cauterets, France. The visitors to the exhibit are mostly French, and know the story very well. They are also here in town and can relate to the views of the town and the mountains. For you, my viewers abroad, I'll explain: This is a watercolor of a building in town with very exotic towers, because a Russian Princess came to Cauterets at the end of the XIXth Century and had it built like that. She's the "heroine of all times", since the beautiful building rests as witness of her passage in Cauterets.
