Just around our garden here in Boquete there are many beautiful butterflies. If you stay still for a few minutes with your camera ready, it's possible to take pictures of them on different flowers. I painted this pastel last week, from one of those pictures. Alrededor de nuestro jardin aqui en Boquete hay muchas mariposas. Si te quedas quieto por unos minutos con tu camara lista, puedes tomar fotos de ellas apoyadas en distintas flores. Pinte este pastel la semana pasada, de una de esas fotos.

I'd like to recommend the book How Art Made The World, by Nigel Spiney. He says "everyone is an artist", since we were able to walk on two feet. Our hands were freed to carry weapons, tools, and make art. When Pablo Picasso first visited the Lascaux caves in 1941 said: "We have learned nothing". Me gustaria recomendar el libro "Como el Arte Hizo Al Mundo", de Nigel Spiney. El dice que "todo el mundo es artista", desde que pudimos caminar en dos pies. Nuestras manos se liberaron para poder llevar armas, herramientas, y crear arte. Cuando Pablo Picasso visito por primera vez las cuevas de Lascaux en 1941, dijo: "No hemos aprendido nada".
