Kim of the Seven Moons

Kim of the Seven Moons, pastel, 30x22cm. painted live, in her lovely patio in Alcoy, while chatting with Kim about our lives.

I've recently been in Alcoy, Spain, visiting my friend Kim for a few days. In the next few Blogs you will see some of the quick pastel and watercolor sketches I've done during that trip. I took the train from Lourdes to Perpignan, in France. Did you know that Dali called the Perpignan train station: "Center of the World"? That's why the train station shows a big sign: "Centre du Monde". Then I took another "international" train, from Perpignan to Valencia, Spain, through Barcelona. Wonderful views! Both French and Spanish trains are clean and comfortable, and not too crowded at this time of the year.
