Outside/Inside p. 2, watercolor, THE SKETCHBOOK PROJECT 2011 sketchbook for the Brooklyn Art Gallery, New York.

The previous Blog entry shows a lovely church in Cordoba, and the sketchbook says: "Outside: I was born in Cordoba, Argentina, the same year as The Little Prince, on a summer afternoon." Then at the bottom: "Inside: I had friends to make and many things to learn..." (from The Little Prince).
La entrada del Blog anterior muestra una hermosa iglesia en Cordoba, y en el cuaderno dice: "Afuera: Naci en Cordoba, Argentina, el mismo ano que El Principito, en una tarde de verano." En la parte de abajo de la pagina escribi: "Adentro: Tenia amigos que conocer y muchas cosas que aprender..." (citacion de El Principito).

This page 2, representing images I got from old photographs of myself with my mother and my cousin Ethel in the Dique de la Vina, in Mendoza, Argentina, says: "Outside: Childhood in Mendoza. Mountains and lakes." Then at the bottom I wrote: "Inside: Happy childhood in beautiful surroundings. Avid reader."
Esta pagina 2, representa imagenes obtenidas de viejas fotografias familiares de mi madre y mi prima Ethel conmigo en el dique de la Vina, en Mendoza, Argentina. Dice: "Afuera: Ninez en Mendoza. Montanas y lagos." Luego abajo he escrito: "Adentro: Ninez feliz rodeada de paisajes hermosos. Lectora incansable."
