Morning Ride in Bolzano, watercolor, 4x6" (10x15 cm.) is a quick watercolor I did in beautiful Bolzano, Italy, when I was visiting there in 2006. You can rent one of those bycicles (the one in the picture) for very little and use it all day around the many gorgeous parks of the town. This sketch is now in the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank and Marisa Kiedaisch, in Santa Monica, California. A few notes from my art notebook, for my fellow artists:
--Don't make a boring painting.
--The best reason to paint is for the love of it.
--I learn every day and every time I paint. I learn from nature, from experiments and failures, and from my peers.
Now stop reading this and go paint!
